The next step is called "Chartering." A charter is a "permit" to use the 4-H emblem and be under the 4-H Organization umbrella. Our charter is an online application on 4-H Connect. The charter includes the application, club bylaws, employer identification number (EIN) from the IRS for non profit organizations, and current club bank account information.
If you have any interest in starting a new club, please contact Collin County Extension office, and we can go through all this information in a simple and easy format!
